VANERUM Group announces the acquisition of Belisia in Bilzen, thus enhancing its portfolio of products and services extent to customized furniture for educational environments and interactive solutions for the corporate market. The companies within the Group VANERUM are specializing in different activities which contribute to the development of interactive, integrated and inspiring (i3) learning and meeting environments. Traditionally, focus was on the education sector, but the addition of the Belisia portfolio will change that.

VANERUM Group CEO Gert Van Erum : "Belisia enjoys an excellent reputation as a total designer of inspirational and functionally responsible offices, libraries and learning environments. The company has gained experience in combining designer furniture and bespoke solutions within this total concepts . Recently their focus was more on the business sector, and that makes Belisia a perfect complement within the Group, which until now mainly focused on line production .
On the other hand, Belisia will be able to use the products and know-how of the VANERUM group in terms of the integration of audiovisual and interactive products (such as beamers and SMART Boards) in learning and meeting environments. "To determine what our i3 philosophy can bring into practice, we listen to the end users of our environments, and look at what they lack within their daily individual and group work, in order to provide optimal support," says Van Erum, "The design department of Belisia is able to develop new or existing products where adaptation is necessary, optimally responding to identified needs. " With the new combination of interior design advice, interactive audio-visual products and know-how, Belisia fills a complete niche in our nest. Belisia is now 100 % owned by the VANERUM Group, but remains an independently managed division and maintains its existing site in Bilzen.
